Kráska a zviera: film / Beauty and the Beast: the movie

Príbeh starý ako sám čas. Prvá originálna verzia bola natočená v roku 1991. Dnes, o pár rokov neskôr, prichádza spoločnosť Disney so znovuzrodeným dielom Kráska a zviera. Moje očakávania od tohto filmu boli veľké. Od prvotnej informácie, že Emma Watson bude hrať Belle, som sa nevedela dočkať. Dva roky čakania na „film roku“ sa skončili a prinášam vám svoj pohľad na film.

Film je nadčasový. Je dychberúci, veľkolepý, najmilší. Priznám sa, je mi bližší ako animovaná verzia. Možno to bude tým, že postavy sú reálne, nie iba kreslené. Belle je emancipovaná, nebojácna mladá žena, ktorá sa nebojí ísť proti spomalenému prúdu myslenia dedinčanov. Nebojí sa snívať. Sny sú veľmi dôležité. Poháňajú nás dopredu a častokrát sú hybnou motivačnou silou, ktorá nás dokope k tomu, aby sme dosiahli náš cieľ. Belle miluje knihy a veľa číta. Ja tiež, takže mi je táto jej záľuba veľmi blízka. Byť tak teraz vo veľkej knižnici Netvorovho zámku...

                                    

Emma hrá Krásu brilantne. Sám režisér Bill Condon sa v jednom rozhovore o Emme vyjadril, že už pred natáčaním bola vzorom pre mnohé mladé ženy a dievčatá (veď Harry Potter). Jej postoje a názory sú hodné nasledovania. Keď zoberiete takúto silnú, nebojácnu, inteligentnú osobnosť /fakt, že je známa herečka nehrá žiadnu rolu/ a dosadíte ju do postavy Belle, vznikne dokonalá súhra.

                                         

Zviera hrá herec, ktorého môžete poznať zo seriálu Downton abbey- Dan Stevens. Úprimne, keď sa zverejnila info, že on bude hrať zviera, nič mi to nevravelo. Ale! Nezávisle od toho, zamilovala som si seriál Downton abbey a Dan je jeho neodmysliteľnou súčasťou. Tie jeho modré oči! Áno, s jeho modrými očami bude mať zviera úspech. A naozaj. Dan sa na stvárnení Netvora nadrel. Najprv musel natočiť scény s ťažkým, veľkým kostýmom a po druhýkrát znovu sám iba mimiku tváre tak, aby to sedelo, aby Netvor dostal správny výraz v správnej chvíli. Vďaka najmodernejšej technike sa toto podarilo skĺbiť dokopy a výsledok je skutočne dobrý.

                                         

Nedá mi nespomenúť Gastona- sebeckého mladíka, ktorý chce Belle získať iba pre seba. Ako sa sám herec Luke Evans vyjadril vo viacerých rozhovoroch, Gaston je jedinečný protivník, pretože nemá žiadne magické schopnosti, používa iba svoju pýchu a svaly k tomu, aby získal, čo chce. Luke odviedol dobrú prácu a jeho Gaston je skutočne zlý chlapík.

                          

Technológie pomohli oživiť aj legendárne postavičky ako Svietnik, Orloj, Pani Čajnica či Madam garderóba /skriňa/. Vizuálne sa veľmi líšia od tých animovaných. Či je to dobre? Ja s tým nemám najmenší problém. Každý z nich je špecifický vzhľadom i hlasom. Vedia si získať vašu priazeň, či už dojímavými pesničkami, vtipnými hláškami alebo tanečnými kreáciami.

Je to napínavý príbeh, za ktorým sa ukrýva oveľa viac. Užite si film. J

It´s fairytale as old as time. The first original version was shot in 1991. Today, a few years later, here comes Disney with a new-born live-action movie - Beauty and the Beast. My expectations from the movie were pretty high. When I got the information of Emma Watson playing the role of the main character, Belle, I knew the movie was going to be very successful. The two years spent waiting for the movie are gone and so I can finally give you a few insights and my personal view on the film.

                         

The movie is breathtaking, majestic and amazing. I have to admit that this live-action remake is much closer to me. Maybe it´s due to the animated characters being replaced by real ones. Belle is fearless, kind-hearted young woman with a very strong mind, who dares to live the life in her own way. She is courageous to dream big. Dreams are essential ´cause they drive our lives. They are the strength to fulfil our goals and desires. Belle loves reading books. So do I, and that is why I can easily identify myself with her, wishing to be in the Beast´s castle right now, in that huge library...

                                    

Emma´s performance is brilliant. Director Bill Condon said in one of his interviews that Emma had been a model for young girls and women even before this movie came out. Her persuasions and attitudes and her generosity, these all can be an excelent example for us.  Appointing the strong, brave and intelligent personality of Emma  to the character of Belle, has made a perfect combination for the movie. 

Beast is performed by an actor, well-known for his role in Downton abbey- Dan Stevens. Honestly, I had not heard about him before I started watching Downton abbey, where Dan played a very important role. Imagine his blue eyes! Yes, those blue eyes perfectly reflect the vulnerable soul of the rough Beast. And it´s true. Dan did really a great job as the Beast „with his melancholic heart“. At first, he had to act dressed up in a heavy costume. Secondly, he shot all scenes again screening just his face for the best face-play. Thanks to modern technology, this turns out to be astonishing.

                                            

I have to mention Gaston, indeed a selfish guy, who wants Belle just for himself. Like the actor Luke Evans said in some interview, Gaston is a unique enemy, because he doesn´t have any power of a wizard nor magical tools . He only uses his pride and muscles to get what he desires. Luke did an awesome job interpreting Gaton as the evil guy.

                            

Technology also helps to bring to life iconic characters like Lumiere, Cogsworth, Mrs. Potts, Chip, Madam de Garderobe with Cadenza and Plumette. Even though their appearance is different from animated ones, I don´t mind. They are perfect. Each of them has a specific visual appearance and distinct voice. They capture your attention with moving songs, dance creations or funny replicas.

It´s a thrilling story, behind which is much more to explore. Enjoy the movie! J
